Business workhorse remains 802.11 wireless Ethernet, says OpenBench Labs

With all the buzz over Bluetooth, it's not too surprising that the industry would jazz up the 802.11b-the b was added in 1997 to indicate 11 Mbits per second throughput-moniker with the new Wi-Fi marketing logo. The magic behind the higher level of throughput is a technology similar to that used in GPS satellites and some types of cell phones.
